The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Sonargaon University, successfully organized a Project Showcase Contest to encourage students to explore innovative ideas and demonstrate their ability to develop technology-driven solutions. The event provided students with an opportunity to transform their academic knowledge into practical projects addressing real-world challenges.
A total of 15 teams participated in the competition, showcasing a diverse range of innovative and impactful projects. Among the notable projects were "Sensing Smart Umbrella" and "Project Thesis Management System", which demonstrated the students' creativity, technical knowledge, and ability to develop practical solutions using technology.
The projects were evaluated by Prof. Dr. Md. Mostofa Akbar, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). His expert evaluation and feedback provided valuable guidance to the participating students and encouraged them to further develop their ideas and technical capabilities.
The Project Showcase successfully promoted a culture of innovation, creativity, and practical learning within the department. The impactful projects presented by the participants reflected the growing technical capabilities of CSE students and encouraged them to pursue further research, development, and technology-driven solutions.
